Finally recovered from kitties overload to post about last weekend’s visit of the three litters. We had two male kittens in mind, but were meeting the females and a 1 year old male alter named Cudahy too. After an anxious hour’s drive, we finally arrived to a cute cozy house under a giant tree, and just like the last breeders 10 years ago, kitties were already peering at us at the windows.
We first met the ladies. A 14 year old greeted is at the door. A young female sniffed me and said I wore lotion and thats stinky too. We were given a laser pen to play with the rest, and surprisingly, the fastest one was a 16 year old and Cudahy. We fell in love with a round-eyed 1 year old named Pokanoh? It was very hard remembering all their exotic names. Poka, though, was not for sale.
Eventually, we made friends with all the females and I had the young one who said i was stinky leaning on my back, but it was time to meet the dads outside.
There were three giant males, two tabbies, and one blue. The first tabby was even breeding with a girlfriend at 9 years old! His name was Bezee? He liked to butt heads a lot, and was the dad of the 6 week olds and 4 week olds. The second tabby ra-rowed at us, it was very cute. I can’t seem to remember his name but it will probably come back later. My parents took turns carrying the boys and decided the blue was most solid and heaviest, but it was deceiving because he was not as fluffy. He was the dad of the 5 month olds (2 sisters of the blue show cat), and grandpa to the 10 week olds (8 brown kittens).
She’s 14 years old, greeter at the door.
This is young Pocahno? she was not for sale 🙁
She is 16. The fastest at lazer pointer chasing.
They lined up in a row for us.
2 year old alter male Cudahy was available for adoption.
This female made friends with me.
Bezees, still good enough to breed at 9 years old!
He was very heavy.
